The scales are not completely reliable, and are actually often misleading you. It’s quite possible to improve your body without any change showing on the scales, and it’s also possible to lose muscle and gain body fat without any change showing on the scales. The scales are simply not showing you the whole picture.
Likewise, there are more reliable ways to interpret the progress you’re making towards your goals. I like to track four specific things – your energy levels, your performance, your pain levels and your sleep quality.
