Since being diagnosed with diabetes a year ago I had been looking for an exercise plan that would help me keep as healthy as possible. I found Heather's website and called her. She was so helpful and encouraging (despite my very low levels of fitness!) that I joined her Fatbusters class. The exercises and nutritional advice I got through the class were just what I needed. I have not only lost weight but changed shape. My diabetes medication has been reduced and my blood sugar levels are normal. I would recommend Heather to anyone looking to get healthy and remain healthy.

With Heather’s skill and enthusiasm I now feel in control of my health. The Nutrition advice was excellent and I have stuck to it despite finishing our sessions a month ago, the guidance around foods you gave me will stay with me for life.
Also, my knees are a lot better and my reflexlogist says my thyroid is normal again. On my last visit to the acupuncturist he says my digestive pulse is my strongest so my new eating plan has had a very positive effect on my body. All in all a huge success and I think I am still losing weight as my jeans are getting looser and looser!

I have done the 28 Day detox and found out how packaged foods had controlled me.
I now don't ever feel hunger pangs as I eat what I need. Also, I don't have the urge to go back to my old way of eating. I think now I will stick to almost all of the plan with a few treats at weekends maybe.
I have lost a stone and 6lbs to date so very happy, a way to go yet but with Davids training regime on Tuesdays and me doing 2 other sessions on my own each week I am on the right track.
Thank you for all the support, David is very good and patient with me as this "old" body of mine is taking some work to get it healthy.
I will keep going and I am so grateful to you for your brilliant ideas and fantastic news letters.

Three years ago, I had a heart transplant. For the 20 years prior to that, I had been banned from any strenuous physical activity or sport so I had lots of catching up to do. I worked my way back to fitness through swimming, pilates, Nordic walking and playing badminton but I realised that I was not going to the next level either in terms of strength or stamina.
I began to work with Heather in June 2009 and within a few short weeks, saw that my muscle tone was improving massively and my strength and stamina were getting better and better by the day.
Heather makes me work hard and pushes me beyond what I think I can do, in order that I can safely build muscle and strength. The glorious side effect of all this has been that my body is getting more toned and my clothes look better on me every day. I have not lost weight at all (I didn't need to) or dieted, it is the effect of the weekly workous.
Heather is a great trainer: she is strict and demanding (she won't let you fake it!), she gets results and is a good motivator. She can even make me exercise when I don't feel like it! I cannot recommend Heather highly enough.
I have also had her assess my body type through Bio-Typing and recommend to me what I should be eating to get maximum energy. I didn't realise that my body runs off protein and how little my diet previously contained. Now that I'm putting in more protein I am really feeling the benefits of a general feeling of wellbeing and increased energy levels.
You owe it to yourself to get some Fitbiz training - I have never been so healthy!

With 10 weeks to our wedding, I had lost nearly a stone through eating healthily, but had hit a plateau and colleagues suggested I kick start things by calling Heather. Within a couple of days we met and I signed up on the spot.
I was impressed by Heather’s whole person approach, advising me on nutrition as well as motivating me during our training sessions.
My weight loss was back on track and I toned up more than I could have hoped for through my sessions with Heather and had renewed confidence on our big day.
What’s more the sessions were fun and tailored to my individual needs, but watch out, Heather doesn’t let you slack!

My name is Andrea and I started training with Heather in September 08. I wanted to tone up and get fit - I work silly hours and have 2 children at school and a husband who travels away a lot so I struggle to fit in regular trips to the gym and definitely lack the will power to get myself going.
I kept starting fitness routines and telling myself no more snacks but never managed to keep it up and frankly the chocolate biscuits call louder than the trainers!!
My first session was a bit scary as it involved scales and body fat calipers - to be honest I think the scales were more scared than me.... that little indignity over, we discussed motivation (40th Birthday looming and party frock to get into) and determination (I'd give up chocolate but I'm no quitter). Seriously though, it was a comprehensive and motivational checkup, Heather made no silly promises but kept it sensible. Eat healthily and do some exercise and you will look and feel better but don't expect miracles after the first session.
We started the following week and I have done 2 sessions a week for 7 weeks now. We had a reassessment after 6 weeks and I was thrilled (apart from having to get on the scales again!) to find that I had lost 3% of my body fat - far more than either Heather or I had expected. I really feel so much better and everyone has commented how much fitter I am looking.
This has given me all the more determination to continue and I am so pleased that I finally plucked up the courage to call a personal trainer.
Heather's exercises are tough but you can feel them working and she is always so encouraging. I haven't given up the chocolate (or the odd glass of wine) but she has helped me make more sensible choices about the food I eat and I actually found myself looking forward to training last time - obviously I wouldn't tell her that!

I just needed inspiration to kick start some sort of exercise routine; low and behold you appeared – the fitness fairy!
My eating habits were terrible – not eating all day and then coming home from work to a glass or 2 of wine and dinner, collapsing on the sofa and asleep within a couple of hours. I didn’t make ‘my time’ for exercise and my life revolved around work and the children.
You kindly showed me that by changing the way I ate, eating breakfast (something I only did on holiday!), a healthy lunch and dinner, with a couple of snacks during the day gave me more energy and this then inspired me to do some exercise to tone up and feel better about myself.
Our sessions are fun, the mixture of exercises each week gives variation to each session and I was amazed how quickly I saw results.
I now eat healthier, drink plenty of water and less wine! Thank you for putting me on the first step to a healthier lifestyle.

Heather has been Training me on a weekly basis for about 5 months now. She devises slightly different workout plans each time to make the session both interesting and challenging and is very supportive.

I contacted Heather with just six weeks before I was to be Best Man at a friends wedding. After struggling for a year to maintain any sort of fitness regime (despite being a gym member) I decided to hire a Personal Trainer. My main objectives were to loose some weight and improve my general shape & fitness. Heather completely exceeded my expectations as a Personal Trainer and helped me to exceed my objectives. I lost over half a stone in weight in six weeks and reduced my body fat mass significantly. Over and above the fitness sessions, Heather gave me some great advice re what to eat, why to eat it, and when to eat. I now eat a balanced healthy diet and rarely feel hungry or the need to snack on junk. The enjoyable thing about how I now eat is that I am not on a diet, I just eat properly. If we identified physical anomalies or old injuries, Heather on several occasions went out of her way to advise me on what actions/exercises I should take to correct/improve them. If you are in need of motivation to get in better shape as I was, I would highly recommend Heather as a Personal Trainer. I am genuinely impressed by Heather's professionalism and even more impressed with the results. Heather is inspirational! She is very enthusiastic and certainly knows her stuff, encouraging me to go the extra mile without pushing me right over the edge! I am exhausted but at the same time exhilarated after a one to one session, and after 11 sessions I am much fitter and a lot more toned now than I was before. I had tennis elbow when I first started seeing Heather and all my GP said was to take drugs every day and to rest my arm. After doing specific exercises every day that Heather recommended, my arm is completely better and I didn't need the drugs! I thoroughly recommend her.

When I joined the Bootcamp I was hoping for an alternative exercise from my usual bit of gym and running. I have to say that what I didn't expect from the Bootcamp was the results I got! David is a very good instructor and made sure that we all worked out to the best of our ability. I am certainly feeling stronger and am noticing a real difference in my body shape especially on my stomach. I've lost a total of 12 inches over the month, including 3 inches from my waist.
I am really pleased with the results, my intension is to follow some of the nutrition plan as it worked for me. Many thanks for your support I shall keep in touch.

Well in the four weeks of Bootcamp, I lost 13lbs which made me very happy but, even more impressive as far as I was concerned, was the 3 inch loss from my waist =). I also lost 1.5 inches from my chest, hips and tummy button repectively and a total of 14 inches overall so I'm really happy with the results, and loads of people have asked me how I've achieved the results so quickly.
Thanks very much Heather, I've enjoyed both the eating plan and the exercise classes. My son brought home warm jam doughnuts from Tesco today and I wasn't even tempted, which was a bit sad! But actually, I don't really miss any of the food I used to eat. I wake up in the morning feeling refreshed and ready to take on the day, which is a lovely bonus.

I have lost over half a stone and am now able to wear things I had relegated, but kept in the hope that I would one day be able to wear! David is excellent, very encouraging without cracking the whip too much. I like the diet – I’m not missing any of the things I thought I would and will probably stick to it beyond boot camp.

I've always hated exercise but I look forward to the sessions so much.They're varied and David keeps everything fun while still making us work hard. I even look forward to the aches the next day as it means I've donesome good.
When I first looked at the eating plan, I thought no way am I going to be able to follow that but you get used to it quickly, especially as I never feel hungry. By the end of the first week, I wasn't even tempted by what other people were eating.

I recently started the group training sessions and I really enjoyed them right from the start! 7am may seem early but you're left feeling energised for the day.
Heather is a good motivator, she sets the exercises to suit you and encourages you to do them without being pushy!
Everyone who comes is lovely, and we all encourage each other. The sessions are relaxed, fun and, strangely, you love it when she says the magic words 'stretching now'!!
In a relatively short space of time I have noticed how differently my clothes are fitting, and would happily recommend Heathers training sessions to all.

A group of us had completed the South Downs way by mountain bike over a two day period; we hadn’t really trained for it and came back shocked at how hard it was and just how much it hurt! One of group recommended circuit training as the best way to get into shape for such an event and, as we had decided that we wanted to challenge ourselves more, we went on the look out for a Trainer to get a bunch of us into shape. Heather got us all exercising more than many of us had for many years, it's definately hard work, but fun. What is clear though, is that all of those hours spent in the gym on our own were often wasted.
Training with Heather is different and hard work - but we all really enjoy it and look forward to our sessions. We are working much harder now without really noticing it. New exercises are being introduced which keeps things interesting, particularly the ability to pummel workout mates on a Friday with the boxing gloves!
The result is that I feel much healthier; I'm watching what I eat and am doing much more exercise in the rest of the week - including Heather’s killer body matrix.
