All the information you need to make the changes you want to make to your body, fitness and nutrition is already available for free.
It is not a lack of knowledge that prevents us from getting off the starting line and making changes.
The trouble is that the massive amount of information available is often contradictory and so leaves us feeling unsure, confused and overwhelmed. The confused mind often chooses not to make any changes and instead to simply stay with what is comfortable and familiar. If we do manage to make some changes, we often don’t give them enough time to work before we jump onto another approach to see if that works any better.
Most of us will see massive improvement to our health and fitness, and achieve a good amount of weight loss by simply sticking to the basics for the long term. This is even more true if you haven’t really made a start before.
The basics are:
– Eat 3 meals full of nutrient rich ingredients, being sure to include at least 1g per KG bodyweight per day of protein. Try to minimise snacking as much as you can.
– Keep your visits to low-nutrition snacks, drinks and meals to a couple of times a week at most.
– Stay hydrated.
– Set up your life so you’re able to get plenty of good quality sleep.
– Keep moving frequently throughout the day, and add in a couple of strength based workouts a week if you can.
Then, simply keep going! You will be surprised at how far this very simple approach will get you.
